Parker turned 6 months on Christmas Day. Amazing how time flies and how much he has grown. His personality is really coming to life now and he has already figured out how the fake cry will get mom's attention.
His first tooth came in a week or so prior to Christmas and the second one followed shortly after. His latest craze is to scratch everything from pillow cases to your face as his explores the different textures.
He fits perfectly in 6 month clothes, his hair (light brown) is beginning to come in a bit faster now and his eyes are hazel-ish blue. At his 6 month appointment, he weighed in at 17 pounds and was over 26 inches. All measurements had him at the 50th percentile.
Christmas was a lot of fun this year, but I won't spoil the fun. We'll post more on Christmas and pictures of the big day soon.

It's Snowing!
Friday was a really exciting day. It snowed in Houston for the second year in a row now and how fitting for Parker's first year. Lindi had knee surgery in the morning(everything went really well!) so we got to play around in the snow some in the afternoon.
Here is a picture of us leaving HEB...the snow was really coming down.

This was the morning after:

We also went to Hudson's birthday party on Saturday...he is 3 years old. Parker and Chase got some time to hang out.

Naughty or Nice? Parker meets Santa
On a recent trip to show Parker one of Daddy's favorite stores, Bass Pro Shops, Parker was able to meet and take his first pictures with Santa. Lindi took Parker to Santa while Dad manned the camera. Once in Santa's hands, you could tell Parker was trying to figure out where he was and what he was doing. The blank stare lasted about 10 seconds before he erupted in tears. It was just long enough for Dad to take a few shots and Santa's little Helper got her shot.
He's growing up fast. Today he is 5 months old. Hard to believe.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!!!!!!
Our neighborhood also recently had a fall festival. Typically Ryan and I never participate in the neighborhood events, but now that we have Parker we thought we should make an appearance. They had the cutest little pumpkin patch where we could take Parker's picture. It was tough since he can't quite sit up on his own so we had to be really quick because he would only hold the pose for a few seconds before he would fall over. We were trying to wedge him between pumpkins, but it didn't always work. He is such a wiggle worm!!

Little Aggie Fan
Parker got all decked out to watch his first Aggie football game. He is going to have to grow into the ball cap, but he sure does look good in Maroon.
With the cooler weather, we were finally able to take Parker out into the backyard to play. He loves the outdoors and anytime he has a crying fit, it soothes him.

The First of Many Firsts
Parker has accomplished a huge task, rolling over. We are proud to announce that Parker has rolled over for the first time, yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so amazing to watch him figure out how to do something on his own. You would think something so small would not be such a big deal, but it is HUGE. He was on his stomach and acting a little fussy because it was time to eat and all of the sudden he shifted his weight and rolled on his side. At that point in time I was sitting next to him cheering him on, and then he mustered up enough strength to finish it off and rolled on his back. I was thinking that maybe it was done accidentally but he did it two more times after that and I got the 3rd successful attempt on video. Wow, he is getting so big!!!!!
